Piotr Banachowicz has obtained his master’s degree in 2016 at the Jagiellonian University under the supervision of Dr Jarosław Wilamowski and Dr Szymon Buda. He continued his research in the Stereocontrolled Organic Synthesis Team under the supervision of Prof. Jacek Młynarski and Dr. Szymon Buda and obtained a Ph.D. degree in 2021. During his doctoral research, he was working on the application of nucleophilic selenium species in tandem transformations and total syntheses of natural products.

Piotr has joind us in 2022 to work on pi-extended systems incorporating main group elements.
